Brief Job Summary:  Perform any combination of calculating, posting, and verifying tasks to obtain and record financial data in the accounting records.


Essential Job Functions: 

  • Process key accounting tasks and control functions that support the maintenance of the books and records
  • Perform analysis, reconciliation and monitoring activities in a variety of areas
  • Prepares and posts recurring, standard, monthly journal entries
  • Prepares bank and account reconciliations with full understanding of details relating to all transactions
  • Analyze and monitor fixed asset purchases, check compliance with accounting policies and reconcile additions/disposals/balances to the general ledger
  • Conduct inventory analysis
  • Complete closing procedures
  • Update various spreadsheets/databases
  • Other duties as required
